Men’s Sheds are already at the forefront of improving men’s health and well-being. We are aiming for that improvement in our own health and wellbeing. As a group, we are looking to embrace healthier lifestyles.
Our Welfare Officers are looking at our current practices and facilities. Several versions of the safety guidelines have been made available. Speak with Graham or John about any health or safety concerns.
We will be engaging speakers throughout the year to discuss health and well-being.
We had presentations by Peninsula Health on "Advance Care Planning". It really does make sense to talk with your family to ensure you get the best healthcare when needed.
Russell from Ambulance Victoria provides regular updates to the members on CPR techniques and the use of the Defibrillator.
RUOK - check out how you and your mates are travelling. It's easy to ask your friend "Are You OK?". There is no harm in asking.
